Most tonal mistakes show up when the room is calm. If I can still feel the emotional contour at conservative playback, the loud pass tends to survive platform normalization.

This is where translation starts: conviction at low level, then resilience when the playback context gets brutal.

Bass that flatters one room and collapses in another is not color. It is inconsistency. The bottom octave has to hold shape from full-range monitors to exhausted earbuds.

I test in bad contexts on purpose, because listeners do not owe the work an ideal signal chain.

A useful caption says what changed in the emotional weather, not which synthesizer produced it. '[low swell builds pressure]' carries intent better than brand names.

Accessible language should preserve atmosphere so alternate routes remain artistic, not administrative.
